Sindh Govt Initiates Climate Smart Agriculture Training for Farmers

Karachi: Sindh government has started training farmers to deal with climate change and increase yield per acre. The Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar, announced a five-year Climate Smart Agriculture Project under the Sindh Water and Agriculture Transformation initiative.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project aims to establish one hundred and eighty field schools and train four thousand five hundred farmers. The initiative is designed to increase farmers’ income and ensure food security. This year, seven hundred fifty farmers are receiving training under the project.
