Karachi, February 16, 2020 (PPI-OT):Sindh Minster for Livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi in a statement on Sunday said that Livestock and Fisheries Department was going to organize a seminar in collaboration with Ostrich Farming Association, Pakistan on February 19, 2020. The Minister said that people involved in the activity of ostrich farming would participate in the seminar. He said ostrich farming was a lucrative business and that it had ample investment opportunities. Abdul Bari Pitafi said that people needed to be made aware of the usefulness as well as utility of Ostrich farming.
He said that the Sindh government had taken this step specifically to encourage, support and promote the people involved in Ostrich farming. The Minister said that Sindh Institute of Animal Health Korangi, which was being run by Livestock and Fisheries Department, would be the venue for the seminar. Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi, Secretary Livestock Ijaz Mahesar, Dr. Nazir Kalhoro and the President’s Ostrich Association of Pakistan would address the seminar.
