Sindh’s Three Heritage Sites Added to UNESCO Tentative List

Karachi: Sindh’s three cultural heritage sites have been included in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s tentative list. The ancient and historic sites which have been included in UNESCO’s list are Kot Diji Fort, Naukot and Umerkot Forts.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has termed the inclusion of these sites in UNESCO’s tentative list as a great achievement. He noted that this achievement will play an important role in introducing Sindh’s cultural heritage at the global level.
