Jammu, May 13, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Indian police conducted raids at multiple locations in Ramban district of Jammu region. The SIU personnel raided the residences of Muslims in different areas of Banihal and Ramsoo in the district and harassed the residents for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement. They also took away mobile phones, laptops and other electronic gadgets from the inmates.
It is to mention here that in run up to upcoming G-20 meeting being hosted by Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government in Srinagar later this month, Indian Army, police and paramilitary personnel have intensified their cordon and search operations and house raids across the occupied territory. Residents are subjected to severe harassment, intimidation and mental and physical torture during these operations.
