Six Terrorists Killed in CTD Operation in Kohat

Kohat: The Counter Terrorism Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has killed six terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation in the Lachi area of Kohat district.

According to Radio Pakistan, the operation was jointly carried out by the CTD and police. During the operation, a large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to personnel of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and the Counter Terrorism Department for the successful operation against terrorists. In a statement, the President said killing of terrorists is an important step toward establishing peace.

Prime Minister, in his remarks, expressed determination to completely eliminate terrorism in all its forms from the country.
