Solar System will be installed at Mohenjo Daro Museum: Sharmila Faruqui

Karachi, June 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):Special Assistant to CM Sindh for Culture and Tourism Ms Sharmila Faruqui said that installation of Solar System at Mohenjo Daro Museum will be start soon. In first stage we will install system at Museum and then it will proceed to Rest house, street lights and finally the archaeological sites. This was finalized in the 11th meeting of executive board of National Fund for Mohenjo Daro at her office.

The meeting discussed the matters regarding the issues and performances of the staff and the current situation of ongoing development work at the archaeological sites of Mohenjo-Daro. She also directed the Professor Dr Sarfaraz Hussain Solangi, consultant of Dry core drilling at Mohenjo Daro to submit the report of drilling as soon as possible so that we will move to next stage.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Shazia Rizvi, Director PITHM Niaz Ali Malkani, UNESCO Representative Kazi Ayaz Maheser, Director Archaeology Qasim Ali Qasim and Dr Sarfaraz Hussain Solangi.
