Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo arrived in Djibouti on Monday, leading a senior delegation, for an official visit to the tiny Horn of Africa country.
President Farmajo will meet with his Djibouti counterpart IsmaA�l Omar Guelleh on Tuesday, where they will discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest including regional security and economic partnerships between the two neighboring countries.
The two countries maintain close relations owing to their shared history and similar demographic composition. It is noteworthy that Djibouti has contributed immensely in the state-building and maintaining of peace through the African Union-led peacekeeping force in Somalia.
During this visit, which reflects the strong ties between the two friendly nations, Farmajo and Guelleh will seek to address issues facing the region, pursuant to their shared vision
