Patna: A tragic stampede at Baba Siddhanath Temple in Jehanabad district, Bihar state, resulted in the deaths of at least seven individuals and injuries to many others. The incident occurred on the night between Sunday and Monday, causing panic and chaos among the devotees gathered at the temple.

According to Kashmir Media Service, local officials reported that the stampede was triggered by a scuffle inside the temple premises. In response to the calamity, the local administration issued a statement detailing the casualties, confirming that sixteen people were injured alongside the seven fatalities.

The situation was further complicated by the large number of attendees, which overwhelmed the temple’s capacity. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene to manage the aftermath and assist the injured.
