Steps Being Taken to Boost Crop Production in Country: Tanveer

Sheikhupura: Minister for Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has announced that measures are being implemented to enhance crop production across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a ceremony in Sheikhupura, Rana Tanveer emphasized that the advancement of the agriculture sector is a priority for Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He highlighted the government’s commitment to providing certified and quality seeds to farmers, noting that actions will be taken against those distributing fake and substandard seeds.

Rana Tanveer also mentioned that the Federal Government has successfully managed the supply and pricing of fertilizers. Additionally, he stated that efforts are underway to increase the number of farmers benefiting from the Kissan Card initiative.
