Stern Action Would Be Taken Against Extortion, Gold Smuggling: Balochistan Govt

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a meeting of the Provincial Apex Committee in Quetta. The meeting was attended by Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan and top civil and military officials.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was decided in the meeting that stern action would be taken against elements involved in extortion, gold smuggling, and hundi and hawala businesses. The meeting also decided to impose a complete ban on anti-state and hateful publications in the province.
