Muqam Directs Implementation of Govt-JAC Kashmir Agreement

Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad to review the implementation of the agreement between the Joint Action Committee of Azad Kashmir and the Government of Pakistan. Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir, Khushhal Khan, provided a detailed briefing during the meeting.

According to Radio Pakistan, Engineer Amir Muqam directed that maximum implementation of the agreement should be ensured ahead of the upcoming meeting in Muzaffarabad. He emphasized that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued clear instructions for strict compliance with the agreement.

The meeting was also attended by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Secretary for Kashmir Affairs Zafar Hassan, and Additional Secretary Kamran Rahman Khan.
