Stranded Pakistanis Return Home from Lebanon, Welcomed by Sindh Governor

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri greeted Pakistanis who were stranded in Lebanon upon their arrival at Jinnah International Airport. The returnees arrived on special flights arranged by the government of Pakistan amidst the ongoing conflict in Lebanon.

According to Sindh Governor House, the welcoming event was attended by Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharijo, and Member of National Assembly Syed Hafeezuddin. The returnees expressed their gratitude to the government for facilitating their swift evacuation and shared insights about the war conditions in Lebanon, highlighting that there are still compatriots trapped there. Governor Tesuri reassured them that efforts are underway to ensure the early return of all remaining Pakistanis.
