Stray Dogs Fatally Maul Young Girl in Pulwama

Srinagar: In a tragic incident in the Awantipora area of Pulwama district, a young girl was mauled to death by stray dogs, local officials confirmed today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the attack occurred outside the girl’s home in the Beighpora locality. After being severely injured by the stray dogs, the girl, identified as eight-year-old Zobia Gulzar, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Naikoo, was urgently taken to a nearby hospital. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was quickly referred to a hospital in Srinagar, where she later succumbed.

This incident has raised concerns about the presence of stray dogs and the danger they pose to local residents, particularly children.
