Karachi, October 26, 2016 (PPI-OT): Consul General of Switzerland in Karachi, Philippe Crevoisier called on Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Ms. Naheed Memon at her office here on Wednesday. Talking to the Swiss CG, Ms. Naheed Memon said that Switzerland is the fifth largest investor in Pakistan and the Sindh Government intends that the investors from Switzerland should increase investment in Sindh province, said a statement on Wednesday.
She informed the Swiss envoy that great investment opportunities are available in food processing and cold storage, pharmaceutical and modern technologies sectors. She said that the Sindh province intends to link up its produce with the global supply chain and it needs cooperation of Swiss companies and government in this regard. Philippe Crevoisier welcomed the suggestion of the Chairperson SBI and assured to extend every possible cooperation in this regard as well as agreed to play his role to bring closer to the investors of the two countries.
