Karachi: Syngenta Pakistan has announced the appointment of Syed Mohammad Ali Murtaza as the new Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, effective March 3, 2025. The company, known for its crop-protection solutions in Pakistan, highlights this move as a step towards enhancing its sustainability initiatives and corporate engagements.
According to a statement by Syngenta Pakistan Limited, Ali brings over 15 years of experience across various sectors, including petrochemicals, digital financial services, and telecommunications. His expertise spans stakeholder engagement, regulatory affairs, and business development.
Before joining Syngenta Pakistan, Ali was the Regional Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs at Jazz, a prominent telecom company. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics and Politics from SOAS, University of London.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Ali actively participates in tennis, serving as the Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation and as a member of the Juniors Committee at the International Tennis Federation.
