Tahir Ashrafi demands stern action against elements involved in Jaranwala incident

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi says Islam teaches respect of all Prophets and divine books.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Thursday, he demanded the honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan to punish the elements which attacked the Churches in Jaranwala.

He said that our Ulema and Bishops are spreading the message of harmony.

He demanded that the government should compensate the loss that occurred in this unfortunate incident.

On this occasion, the Arch Bishop demanded transparent investigation and indiscriminate action against culprits of the incident.

He said that the main intention of this incident is to spread the anarchy in the country.

He regretted this attack destroyed the image of the country.
