Tajik Ambassador Meets Pakistani Defence Minister to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad: In a significant diplomatic engagement, H.E. Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Pakistan’s Minister for Defence, Defence Production and Aviation. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral defence, economic cooperation, and aviation ties between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, the discussion revolved around a variety of pivotal issues including bilateral defence and economic cooperation. The matters related to Aviation were also part of the agenda. During the meeting, the Defence Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the peaceful resolution of all outstanding regional issues and acknowledged Tajikistan’s efforts in advancing peace and economic connectivity in the region.

The Tajik Ambassador emphasized the strong fraternal relations between the people of Tajikistan and Pakistan and reaffirmed his government’s readiness to collaborate with Pakistan in various areas of mutual interest.
