TAPI project crucial to meet country’s energy needs: Musadik

Minister for Petroleum Dr Musadik Malik says timely completion of the TAPI gas pipeline project is one of the topmost priorities of the government.

He was talking to Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atadjan Movlamov in Islamabad today.

The Minister said the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project is crucial to meet the energy needs of our country.

He said the government will ensure continuity of work on the project.

The ambassador told the minister that Turkmenistan Energy Forum is being held in Paris next month. He invited the Minister to attend the forum.
