Karachi, January 29, 2015 (PPI-OT): The President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mian Muhammad Idrees said that the fairs and exhibitions are the important tool to enhance the bilateral trade with other countries. He said that FPCCI will organize Pakistan’s participation in various international trade fairs and exhibitions in different countries especially South East Asian, ASEAN region including single country exhibitions of Pakistan.
In view of the strategy of the new management of FPCCI, the Senior Vice President Abdul Rahim Janoo presided a meeting along with Muhammad Waseem Vohra, Vice President FPCCI held for the allocation of stalls to the selected exhibitors of 19th New Year Shopping Festival scheduled from 8 to 15 February, 2015 at Chengdu, China in which FPCCI is organizing Pakistan’s participation.
The allocation was transparently made through balloting in the presence of representatives of selected companies which has been appreciated by the participants and opined that this would restore the confidence of the exhibitors and participants. The participants have been given briefing for befitting participation.
The Senior Vice President Abdul Rahim Janoo and Vice President Waseem Vohra said that the exhibitors perform the role of ambassadors; hence, they should properly manage their stalls professionally and focus on the maximum meetings with businessmen as well as customer. Their participation in China should uplift the image of Pakistan and FPCCI as well.
