The Universal Insurance Company Limited’s board meeting

Karachi, July 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): This is with reference to Previous Board Meeting Notice dated June 27, 2013 and Postponement of Board Meeting Notice dated July 01, 201 3. Now this is to in inform you that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Short Notice on Tuesday 9th July, 2013 at 11:00 AM at House No.1-A, Street No. 62, F-6/3, Islamabad to review the current financial position of the company.

In term of clause (xxiii) of Code of Corporate Governance, the period starting from 8th July, 2013 to 16th July, 2013 (both days inclusive) has been declared to be a “closed period” during which Directors, CEO and executives of the Company and their spouses are not allowed to trade in shares of the Company in any manner, whether directly or indirectly.
