Thousands attend funerals prayers of martyred youth in IHK

Srinagar, December 29, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people participated in the funeral processions of two youth, who were martyred by Indian troops in Bubgam area of Pulwama on Friday.Imtiyaz Ahmed of Pattipora area of Pulwama and Muhammad Aamir of Handaw village of Shopian were killed by the troops during a siege and search operation.

As the bodies of the martyred youth brought to their native areas, a large number of people attended their funeral prayers. They chanted pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, addressing the mourners over phone from New Delhi paid rich tributes to the martyred. He said that the youth had sacrificed their lives for the people of Kashmir and for a cause.
