Traders of South Punjab condemn latest unprovoked ceasefire violations by India at Working Boundary

Multan, August 05, 2015 (PPI-OT):Traders of South Punjab on Wednesday condemned the latest unprovoked ceasefire violations by India at Working Boundary and asked the International trade organisations, Chambers, and Human rights activists to raise voice against Indian aggression and to immediately stop the violation of 2003 Ceasefire Understanding to create peace and tranquillity along the border.

President of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Mian Iqbal Hassan said that India, at one hand, wants to develop good trade relations with Pakistan and it also wants access to Central Asian states via Pakistan. On the other hand, it was creating a state of war by making unprovoked firing and sending a spy-drone violating the aerial limitations.

He said that “The government of Pakistan should lodge a strong protest with the government of India on the latest unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian security forces in Pukhlian-Aknur sector at the Working Boundary”. While condemning the ceasefire violations, the traders, businessmen and member of MCCI impressed upon India to stop forthwith the ceasefire violations and to observe the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding to create peace and tranquillity at the LoC and Working Boundary.
