Tragic Drowning of Young Boy in Rain-Formed Pond in Delhi

New Delhi: A seven-year-old boy tragically drowned in a pond that formed following heavy rainfall in a park in the Rohini area, local authorities confirmed.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred in Sector-20, Rohini, within the Aman Vihar police jurisdiction. Police responded promptly to the scene and transported the child to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical professionals.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the boy drowned in a temporary pond created by recent rainwater accumulation in the park. Authorities have conducted a post-mortem examination and are pursuing the necessary legal actions in response to the incident.
