Tragic Minibus Accident in Kathua Results in Death of Child, 22 Injured

Jammu: A severe road accident occurred in the Dhar Dugnu area of Kathua district, where a minibus veered off the road, resulting in the death of a nine-year-old boy and injuries to 22 others on Saturday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident happened after the driver of the minibus lost control, causing the vehicle to tumble down a hillock. The deceased, identified as Ankesh Kumar, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Sub District Hospital, Bilawar.

The injured parties are currently receiving medical treatment at the Government Medical College in Kathua.
