Tragic Road Accident Claims Two Lives in Kupwara

Srinagar: A severe road accident in Kupwara district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the death of two individuals, with another person sustaining injuries.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred when an oil tanker lost control and veered off the road into a deep gorge near the Machil area. Officials confirmed the deaths of Jasbir Singh and Unkush Choudary at the scene, while Anu Sharma was reported injured and received medical attention.

In a separate incident in the Rakhama area of Shopian district, a bridegroom named Mubashir Ahmad Naikoo was seriously injured in a knife attack during his wedding celebration. Naikoo was initially treated at SDH Kulgam before being transferred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced care. Local police have initiated an investigation, launching a manhunt to apprehend the assailants.
