Transaction of 8,764,000 shares of Adamjee Insurance Company Limited

Karachi: Adamjee Insurance Company Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange about transaction of shares of the company. 8,764,000 shares @ Rs. 74.0134 per share were sold in the market on January 19, 2017 through CDC. Adamjee Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on September 28, 1960. It is a public limited company listed on the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad stock exchanges of Pakistan. The company is also listed with Central Depositary Company of Pakistan. The company is involved in the business of general insurance. The classification of its products includes fire and property, health, marine, motor and miscellaneous kinds of insurance. The registered office of the company is located in Karachi through which networks of branches are operated across Pakistan. Two branches of the company are also located in UAE. AICL with Hollard Insurance based in South Africa launched Life assurance operations through a separate entity name, Adamjee Life Assurance Company Limited. The symbol “AICL” is being used by the stock exchanges for the shares of Adamjee Insurance Company Limited.
