Tributes paid to Sardar Liaqat Awan

Muzaffarabad, November 12, 2020 (PPI-OT): Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Istiqlal, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, and Chairman of the youth wing, Tanveer Durrani, have paid tributes to freedom-loving mujahid and President of Muhajir Camp Mankpian, Sardar Liaqat Ali Awan, who passed away in Muzaffarabad, today.

Sardar Liaqat Ali Awan, like other Kashmiris, had migrated to Azad Jammu and Kashmir after Indian troops intensified their state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in 1990 to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement.

Mushtaq Ahmed Butt and Tanveer Durrani in a joint statement issued in Muzaffarabad said that the deceased was a very noble, compassionate and patriotic person. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with patience.
