Islamabad, June 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): In the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Government of Turkey for their excellent hospitality during his recent visit to Turkey. The Prime Minister said on this occasion that Turkey and Pakistan have long-lasting historical relations which are based on common belief and mutual respect and the people of both countries have great respect for each other. The Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for the newly formed cabinet of Turkey under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Prime Minister further said that Pakistan is willing to further promote cooperation with Turkey in trade, investment, higher education, tourism, infrastructure development and other sectors. The Prime Minister, while mentioning the meeting with Turkish investors and businessmen during his visit, said that now is the best time for foreign investment in Pakistan, while the deep interest of Turkish companies in this regard is welcome.
Referring to the invitation of the Turkish Ambassador to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is looking forward to the visit of the Turkish President to Pakistan for the seventh session of the High Level Strategic Cooperative Council.
