Islamabad, April 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital Phulghran police team arrested two accused involved in street crime activities and recovered cash, valuables and arm/ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said. He said that Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in theft activities in order to eliminate the crime from the city. A Phulghran police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of street criminals gang involved in snatching activities. The accused were identified as Farooq and Danish.
Police team also recovered cash, valuable and arm ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. CPO /DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in heinous crimes. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard” he added.
