Fire at Rajkot gaming zone claims 28 lives, including nine children

Rajkot, A devastating fire at a gaming zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, has resulted in the deaths of 28 individuals, nine of whom were children. The incident has shocked the local community and prompted immediate responses from emergency services.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Vinayak Patel reported that the victims were severely burned, complicating identification efforts. Authorities have collected DNA samples from the bodies and relatives to assist in identifying the deceased. In the aftermath, the owner and manager of the TRP game zone, where the fire occurred, have been detained by police.

Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which has yet to be determined. The incident has raised concerns about safety regulations and enforcement in public entertainment venues.
