Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has pledged to extend full cooperation in facilitating visas for Pakistani citizens, with a particular focus on work visas. This commitment was made by UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a meeting with Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, in Abu Dhabi.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting addressed the visa challenges faced by Pakistani nationals seeking entry into the UAE. Both parties also discussed enhancing collaboration in areas of security, anti-narcotics, anti-smuggling, preventing illegal immigration, and technology exchange.
During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi toured the modern policing and operations room in Abu Dhabi, which is dedicated to crime prevention and public safety. UAE officials provided Naqvi with a briefing on the operations room’s monitoring capabilities. Naqvi showed a strong interest in the advanced police monitoring system and commended the UAE’s policing model.
