Indian NSA’s Remarks Criticized as Distortion by Pakistan’s Foreign Office

Islamabad: The latest comments by Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval regarding the ongoing Pakistan-India standoff have been labeled as distortion and misrepresentation by Pakistan’s Foreign Office.

According to Radio Pakistan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, made these remarks during his weekly media briefing in Islamabad. He commented that Doval’s statements not only represent a deliberate attempt to mislead the public but also contravene the norms of responsible statecraft.

Khan emphasized that boasting about military aggression against a sovereign nation constitutes a serious violation of the United Nations Charter and established principles of international law. He urged India to acknowledge the downing of six fighter jets and the extensive damage to other military targets, rather than promoting a fictitious narrative.

Responding to a question, Shafqat Ali Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to raising international awareness about the severe human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He condemned the ongoing human rights violations in the region and highlighted the need for the international community to take notice.

Khan also criticized the Indian armed forces for operating with impunity and what he described as a “license to kill” in the disputed territory. He stated that Pakistan will persist in bringing attention to the harshness of Indian policies in the area.
