Beijing: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced that Pakistan has embarked on an initiative to digitize its heritage and culture. This effort aims to preserve the country’s cultural legacy and empower the younger generation to reinterpret and leverage it for future development.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar made these remarks at a forum themed ‘Civilizational Exchange and Mutual Learning: Cultural Heritage and Innovation’ held in Beijing. He emphasized the close relationship between Pakistan and China, noting that the two countries share not only a border but also mountains, rivers, a civilization, and history.
Tarar highlighted the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as more than just a trade route, describing it as a pathway of friendship that includes arts, culture, and cuisine. He underscored the potential for future collaborations, particularly in the joint production of documentaries and films, and stressed the importance of exchanges among digital media influencers. He noted that the future lies in fostering stronger ties through digital media.
The Information Minister also mentioned that the partnership with China Media Group has played a crucial role in enlightening and empowering the youth of both nations.
