UNGA Adopts Pakistan-Sponsored Resolution on Right to Self-Determination

New york: The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a Pakistan-sponsored resolution on Rights to Self-Determination by consensus.

According to Radio Pakistan, the General Assembly, during its 80th session, adopted the resolution titled “Universal Realization of the Right of the Peoples to Self-Determination.” The consensual adoption of the resolution demonstrates broad international support for the inalienable right of the peoples facing colonialism, alien domination, and foreign occupation.

For the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, the resolution underscores international attention to their just and legitimate cause and their aspirations for freedom and dignity in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
