United Business Group nominates candidates for FPCCI elections

Karachi, October 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): United Business Group(UBG) nominates Engineer Daroo khan Achakzai, candidates for FPCCI elections as President and Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, candidates for Senior Vice President. The United Business Group (UBG) announced names of the candidates from Sindh, Capital Territory and KPK for the election of FPCCI this connection a meeting of the UBG’s core committee was held at the house of Chairman UBG, Iftikhar Ali Malik which was attended by the leaders of the business community from all across the country.

Those present at the occasion included S M Munir, Iftikhar Ali Malik, President FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour, Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir – Sr. Vice President FPCCI, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Zubair Tufail, Chief Spokesman for the UBG, Gulzar Firoz, Khalid Tawab, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Riazuddin Sheikh, Abdul Sami Khan, Hameed Akhtar Chadda, Dr Noman But, Zafar Bakhtarwi, Noor Ahmed Khan, Shakil Ahmed Dhengra, Mumtaz Shaikh, Waqar Mian, Tanveer Shaikh, Ms Shabnam Zafar, Malik Sohail Hussain, Zahid ullah Shinwari, Haji Afzal, Aamir Ata Bajwa, Jameel A. Naz, Karim Aziz Malik, Haji Naseem ur Rehman, Zubair Malik, Saeeda Bano, Jawed Iqbal, Sohail Altaf, Faisal Dashti, Mian Akram Fareed, Khalid jawed, Pir Nazim Hussain, Ch. Amjad, Jamal uddin. After thorough deliberations, Chairman of the UBG Iftikhar Ali Malik and Parton-in-Chief S M Muneer made announcement of the candidates.

As per the announcement Engineer Daroo khan Achakzai (Balochistan) was nominated for the President and Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig Senior Vice President of FPCCI Election. The post of VP reserved for the associations went to Noor Ahmed Khan, Usman Waheed, Waqar Munawar Khan will contest for the post of VP from Sindh Chambers, Haji Iftikhar, KPK Chambers as VP of FPCCI, Haji Qurban Ali( Small Chamber, Gilgit) and Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi (Islam Abad Chamber) will contest for the post of VP while Shireen Arshad was nominated to contest for the VP of women’s seat. UBG Leaders said that only true democracy will prevail in trade politics and people with integrity have been given responsibilities so that that can contribute to image building of FPCCI and resolve issues of the business community.
