KP govt to procure 300,000 metric tons of wheat from farmers

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to purchase 300,000 metric tons of wheat from local farmers.

The Provincial Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry in a statement said, twenty nine billion rupees have been allocated for the purchase of wheat and procurement process is to be started from tomorrow.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has fixed the wheat price at 3,900 rupees per 40 kilogram.
