Karachi: United Insurance Co. of Pakistan Ltd. (UNIC) saw its shares trading at Rs. 11.90, closely following the daily weighted average rate of Rs. 11.84. The company, with a turnover of 4,296,500 shares, announced a dividend of 10% and an impressive bonus of 45%, followed by an interim distribution of 25% for 2023. UNIC, boasting a paid-up capital of Rs. 3,467.50 million and a par value of Rs. 10 per share, traded in lots of 500. The share price ranged between Rs. 7.50 and Rs. 11.90 from January to October. The company, listed in 1960, declared its last book closure on November 8.
