Islamabad: US Charge d’Affaires to Pakistan Natalie Baker held a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad to discuss the latest regional situation. The talks focused on diplomatic efforts related to the upcoming second round of Islamabad talks, aimed at fostering regional peace and stability.
According to Radio Pakistan, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude for US President Donald Trump’s initiative to extend the ceasefire, describing it as a significant step toward reducing tensions. Minister Naqvi further highlighted that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are actively engaged at all levels to address the issue. He expressed optimism that the involved parties would consider diplomatic and peaceful solutions to the ongoing conflict.
