US Confirms Trump’s Willingness to Mediate on Kashmir Dispute

Washington: The United States has confirmed President Donald Trump’s willingness to mediate on the Kashmir issue between Pakistan and India following the recently established ceasefire.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a press briefing in Washington, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated that President Trump is committed to resolving generational differences between countries. She emphasized that each step the President takes is aimed at facilitating peace and understanding.

Additionally, Bruce mentioned that a Pakistani parliamentary delegation, led by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, engaged in discussions with senior State Department officials last week, including Under Secretary for Political Affairs Allison Hooker. The meetings focused on key aspects of the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States, with a particular emphasis on counterterrorism cooperation.
