Uzbekistan Lauds Pakistan’s Role in Promoting Regional Peace

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar today held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov. During the discussion, the Uzbekistan Foreign Minister commended Pakistan’s proactive role in promoting regional peace, stability, and de-escalation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov appreciated Pakistan’s leadership in hosting the recent meeting of four foreign ministers in Islamabad. He also expressed full support for the Pakistan-China Five-Point Initiative aimed at fostering peace and stability in the Gulf and Middle East.

The conversation also involved a review of recent regional developments. Both leaders agreed to maintain close contact on matters of mutual interest, highlighting the ongoing commitment to collaboration in achieving regional peace and stability.
