Vaisakhi Celebrated as Agri-Based Cultural Festival of Punjab: CM

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that Vaisakhi is an agri-based cultural festival of Punjab. In her message on the occasion of Vaisakhi, she emphasized that the golden wheat harvest symbolizes the joys of Vaisakhi, attributing this to the hard work of farmers.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz extended heartfelt felicitations to the Sikh community in Pakistan and around the world for celebrating the Vaisakhi festival. The chief minister’s message highlighted the significance of the festival, which marks an important time in the agricultural calendar of the region.
