ANF Cracks Down on Drug Trafficking Network Using Courier Service

Peshawar: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has busted a drug trafficking network that was using a courier service in Peshawar. Following comprehensive surveillance by the ANF team, three suspects were caught red-handed near Haji Camp, Peshawar. A total of 2 kilograms of hashish was recovered from them.

According to Radio Pakistan, during interrogation, it was revealed that the suspects were involved in inter-provincial drug trafficking. The network’s reach extended beyond Peshawar, as a suspect was arrested from Nowshera who had booked eleven drug-laden parcels for delivery to various cities.

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act. Authorities have urged courier services to tighten monitoring of suspicious parcels and cooperate with law enforcement to prevent such incidents in the future.
