WADPA decides to initiate work on Kurram Tangi Dam in North Waziristan Agency

Under directive of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, WADPA has decided to initiate work on the construction of Kurram Tangi Dam in North Waziristan Agency this month.

WAPDA sources told our Peshawar correspondent the dam will be completed at a cost of twelve point six billion rupees in three years.

The dam on completion will generate eighty-three point four megawatt electricity.

The sources said the dam will also irrigate three hundred and sixty two thousand acres land in North Waziristan Agency and Bannu district.
