Wasim Afzal Chan calls on Prime Minister

Islamabad, March 04, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has urged the party workers to gear themselves for the upcoming general elections in the country. The present government has put the democratic system back on the track, he added.

The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Wasim Afzal Chan, MPA, who, along with his father, called on him at the Prime Minister House this morning.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan Peoples Party has successfully demonstrated that given the sincerity of purpose, political stability is possible by pursuing coalition politics.

The Prime Minister said that with the completion of present democratic government’s tenure, all the critics and detractors of the democratic system have been proved wrong and the country is heading towards the general election which is a milestone in Pakistan’s history.
