World Day Focuses on Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Violence Prevention

Islamabad: World Day for the Prevention of and Healing from Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Violence is being observed on Tuesday. For many victims and survivors, their child abuse experience affects their physical and mental health, and well-being, and sometimes there are lifelong consequences.

According to Radio Pakistan, this global observance aims to raise awareness about the impact of child abuse and to promote strategies for prevention and healing. The event highlights the importance of addressing the issue comprehensively to mitigate its adverse effects on individuals and society.
