World Health Day Observed Globally to Raise Health Awareness

Islamabad: World Health Day was observed on Monday across the globe. The day is recognized as a global initiative led by the World Health Organization to increase awareness about diseases, mental health challenges, and the importance of preventive care.

According to Radio Pakistan, the occasion also marks the anniversary of the founding of WHO on 7 April 1948. The observance of the day underscores the organization’s commitment to addressing health issues worldwide and promoting well-being.
