Security Forces Eliminate High-Profile Khwarij Leader in D.I. Khan

Dera Ismail Khan: Nine Khwarij, including a high-value target, were neutralized by security forces during an intelligence-based operation in the Takwara area of Dera Ismail Khan District.

According to Radio Pakistan, the operation led to the elimination of Kharji Ring leader Shireen, who was a highly wanted individual due to his involvement in numerous terrorist activities. The operation also resulted in the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the neutralized Khwarij.

Shireen was notorious for orchestrating the target killing of numerous civilians and was responsible for the death of Captain Hasnain Akhtar. The ISPR stated that the operation has avenged these acts and brought the main perpetrator to justice.

A sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining Khwarij elements in the area. The ISPR reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
