World Peace Linked to Resolving Palestine and Kashmir Conflicts, Says British Lord

Islamabad: World peace is unattainable without a swift resolution to the Palestine and Kashmir conflicts through United Nations resolutions, stated Lord Qurban Hussain of the British House of Lords during a discussion in Islamabad.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Lord Qurban Hussain emphasized the unprecedented scale of violence in Gaza and urged international organizations to implement effective measures for an immediate ceasefire. He criticized the Indian government’s actions in Kashmir, accusing it of committing atrocities and persecuting minorities under oppressive laws.

Lord Qurban commended the advocacy efforts of Pakistanis and Kashmiris in Britain, pledging continued support for the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He also expressed appreciation for the work of the Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) and its President, Dr. Muhammad Tahir Tabassum, in addressing the Kashmir issue.

Dr. Tabassum acknowledged Lord Qurban’s long-standing dedication and service in the House of Lords, expressing hope for his continued guidance and mentorship in the future.
