Islamabad: World Tuberculosis Day was observed on Monday. This year’s theme is “Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver.” The day serves as an opportunity to reflect on ongoing efforts and encourage stronger commitment at local, national, and international levels to end Tuberculosis.
According to Radio Pakistan, the observance aims to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social, and economic consequences of Tuberculosis and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic. The theme underscores the importance of commitment, investment, and delivery in the fight against this infectious disease.
