Yasin detained, Shabbir and other leaders put under house arrest in IOK

Srinagar, January 23, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have placed almost all Hurriyet leaders under house arrest and behind the bars to prevent them from leading demonstrations against the plan of Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to turn Muslims of Kashmir into a minority by changing the demography of the territory.

Indian police arrested the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, from his residence in Srinagar and lodged him in Kothi Bagh Police Station.
